THE Ballinlough Youth Club Summer Festival returned at the weekend with a full line-up of events.

Now in its eighth year, the family fun community day was held on the grounds of the Ballinlough Community Centre and was officially opened by the Deputy Lord Mayor Joe Kavanagh.

Bouncing castles, climbing walls, soccer skills workshop, dog show, baking competition and a mobile animal zoo were just some of the attractions.
The festival was organised by eight local women who saw the opportunity to bring some family fun events to the community.
